BRUSSELS, 18 December 2019 – On 9 December 2019 ECHA launched a Harmonised classification and labelling (CLH) public consultation on Melamine. The European Melamine Producers Association will host a webinar on 9 January 2019 between 16.00 -17.00 CET to inform interested parties, in detail, on how to contribute to the consultation.

Specifically, you can expect us to:

  • walk you through the CLH proposal, the defence of EMPA and how to submit a response;
  • show the overall CLH process timeline; &
  • answer any questions you may have (these should be sent in advance of the webinar using the registration form).

EMPA guidance on CLH submission

The updated EMPA Guidance document provides information how you can respond to the consultation. The Guidance will provide practical examples from other CLH proposals/responses for areas of comments / evidence you could think to comment.
